Early Childhood Ireland’s podcast goes from strength to strength. In 2022 we had four themed series, connected to the themes of Aistear, along with a series looking at Policy and Research.

Rounding off the Aistear themed series on Early Childhood Ireland’s podcast were four episodes on Communicating. This series was proudly supported by Arachas Insurance.

We often hear about the Reggio Emilia concept of the Hundred languages of children. In this series, and with the expertise of wonderful guests; Cliodhna Noonan, Artist in Residence at Atlantic Technological University, Dr Francesca La Morgia from Mother Tongues, Jackie Maguire, Early Years artist and consultant, and Liz Smith, from ReCreate, we delved into what this concept means and looked at communicating through music, storytelling, creativity and multiple languages. The first series of 2023 delves further into what the Reggio Emilia approach is all about, how it originated and has evolved over time. We will speak to educators who have been to Reggio Emilia about their first-hand experiences. These episodes are here Early Childhood Ireland’s Podcast (buzzsprout.com) .
